During Treatment:

Your nurse will map out the areas for hair removal using a special marking pen. Cooling gel will be used to protect the skin. You might feel a brief, mild stinging or snapping sensation as the laser targets hair follicles. Most people find the discomfort tolerable. This treatment does not work on blonde, gray, or red hair.

After treatment:

The skin may be red and slightly swollen, similar to a mild sunburn, but this usually fades within a few hours to a couple of days. Avoid sun exposure and apply soothing lotions as recommended. You will likely need multiple sessions and maintenance treatment for best results.
